Lilly Grossman

Hello there! I’m a national disability policy entrepreneur, researcher, author, and Founder and CEO of Beyond The Box Advocacy.

I study the policies and systems that shape everyday life for people with disabilities, with a particular interest in making opportunity and essential supports more accessible across life transitions.

About Lilly

I’m ambitious, endlessly curious, and interested in what becomes possible when policy meets the realities of everyday life. My work spans disability systems, individual advocacy, research, public engagement, and writing.

Through Beyond The Box Advocacy, I study structural barriers and help make complicated systems easier to understand. I also write about the stories that policy leaves unfinished.

Leadership and Recognition

My work has brought me into national disability policy conversations through research, fellowships, advisory roles, and public storytelling. I serve on disability-focused boards and participate in leadership initiatives that connect policy with lived experience.

As Ms. Los Angeles 2026, I also champion disability representation through my See Her. Be Her. platform.
